Colorful Summer Wedding at Hellviktangen

One boat ride away from Oslo you will find a gem of a wedding location – Hellviktangen. Surrounded by Oslofjord, with a front-seat view of Oslo, this is the most beautiful wedding venue you can get.

My wedding days usually start with checking out the location and capturing what is set up and what everyone is doing. And when I saw the flowers, I knew Elis from RO&RAFF had worked her magic.

Ane, the bride, and her brudepikene were set up on the top floor in a beautiful room with a gorgeous one-window light – my favorite.

It was supposed to rain all day long, but the weather was fantastic up until the cake-cutting. Dark and loud thunderclouds were coming in fast, and we had like 15 min to get some portraits.

It was pouring buckets during the first part of the dinner. The moment it cleared up, I asked Ane & Kristian for an evening session on the beach. It is not the first time we have limited time for portraits but we did good. The weather was perfect, and the evening light was pure magic

When we came back, it was time for a group photo. And then the evening festivities can start. This is where people look most like themselves. The laughs, the vine – party was on.

Last thing before I left was the First dance. I set up all the lights, guests lighted up sparklers and we even had a sacsafonist join us.
