August Wedding at Norske Studenters Roklubb & Uranienborg kirke
It was such a pleasure to photograph Fredrikke and Peder’s wedding day. They chose Uranienborg Kirke for theyr ceremony and Norske Studenters Roklubb for theyr party. Don’t forget to tell me in the comments which is your favorite part of this wedding day 🔥 & let’s go
Getting ready at Studio Alf
Fredrikke got ready at Studio Alf Grensen with her girlfriends. The place is very central and the staff and stylists there are super talented and helpful. The second floor was dedicated to the girls getting ready and drinking champagne.
During the planning, I always suggest giving the photographer also 15 min with the groom and his party. Peder got ready at theyr home in Majorstuen which is also where he proposed. For them, it was important that this moment was intimate, plus it was a gorgeous city apartment with tall ceilings and big windows.

Ceremony at Uranienborg kirke.
Uranienborg Kirke became the perfect setting for Peder and Fredrikke’s traditional Norwegian ceremony. This church in the heart of Oslo will make your wedding feel grand. The red brick, the tall colons, and the beautiful entrance are going to make you feel like you are part of royalty.
A pro tip for future lovebirds: if you’re saying ‘I do’ in this charming yet dark church, you need to book a professional photographer who would easily know how to make your images well-lit.
Just before we went to the Bygdøy, we stopped on the street just in front of the church, and kudos to the clients, as this was their idea entirely.
Diner & Party at Norske Studenters Roklubb
For the reception, the couple chose Norske Studenters Roklubb, and boy, was it a brilliant choice! Located close to Oslo, with original wall paintings & parquet flooring, and crystal chandeliers – it was the perfect canvas for wedding photography. With massive windows overlooking the pier and Oslofjord, the setting was nothing short of magical.
The reception at Norske Studenters Roklubb was decked out with personal touches, but the most special detail was the seating chart written on a dor. This was such a memorable welcome surprise to all the guests.
Peder is part of a men’s choir. And during the dinner, they surprised the couple&the guests with some fun tunes!
